How to measure your item
- Measure the longest side of your item in millimetres. This is the length.
- Measure the width across the shorter side.
- Measure the depth or height. Leave this blank for flat items such as documents or prints.
- Add 5 to 10mm on each side for wrapping, padding or a little breathing room, then enter your figures above.

What size box do I need for my item?
Measure your item's length, width and depth, add a little room for padding, and enter the figures into the finder above. It returns every box, bag and mailer that fits, smallest first, so the top result is the closest match we stock.
What if you do not stock my exact size?
The finder always shows the nearest size up that still fits your item. If we do not carry your precise measurement, the closest larger box or bag appears at the top of the results, so your item stays fully protected.
Are the sizes internal or external?
Every dimension in the finder is an internal (usable) size, measured inside the box or bag. That is the actual space your item has, so you never order something that turns out too small.
How much space should I leave around my item?
For most items, allow 5 to 10mm on each side for wrapping, bubble wrap or void fill. For fragile items, leave a little more so there is room for protective packaging on every face.
Can I find a bag or mailer instead of a box?
Yes. Results are split into rigid boxes and flat bags, mailers and envelopes. If your item is flat, leave the height blank and the finder prioritises bags and mailers; add a height and it focuses on boxes.
